Rae's Bag

It's fun making bags - especially for someone who I think will really enjoy it!  I made this one using the same modifications of Tanya Whelan's Metro Bag as the bag I made for my sister-in-law.

 The only thing that I added differently this time was little glass beads on the ties.

I used Tanya Whelan's Metro Bag pattern and modified it slightly and ended up with this great bag to give to my sister-in-law!

I love the size of the bag!

Edie at St. Croix County Dry Goods in Hudson had the perfect vintage button to go with the fabrics (that she helped pick out)!

Grandma's Day

Here is the beautiful lady who inspired me to make a purse:

She said that if we went to church with her on Mother's Day then we wouldn't have to go to her funeral!  She had several pews full of children, grandchildren and great-grand children.

My awesome teacher helped me make my first bag!  I gave it to Grandma for Mother's Day.
